How to change the connection port IP-KVM Supermicro
The Supermicro IP-KVM (IPMI) web interface lets you change the port used to access the management interface, for example to use a different HTTPS port instead of the default 443. This guide shows how to change it in the IPMI web interface.
This procedure changes the port used to reach the IPMI web interface. It does not change the IKVM Server Port used by the remote console.
Open the Port settings
Log in to the IPMI web interface, open the Configuration tab, then select Port.

Change the port
On the Port Setting screen you can configure the service ports. To change the web connection:
- If your IPMI interface provides a Web port checkbox, you can uncheck it to disable plain HTTP access.
- Set Web SSL port to the port you want to use, for example 643.
Leave IKVM Server Port, Virtual Media Port, and SSH Port unchanged unless you specifically need to adjust those services. Click Save.

Make sure the new port is allowed through any firewall in front of the server, and note it down. After saving, reconnect to the web interface on the new port.
Connect using the new port
After changing the port, connect to the interface using the new port:
https://<IP ADDRESS>:643/
Replace 643 with the Web SSL port you set.

The IPMI login page opens on the new port, confirming the change worked.
