Adding IP-KVM to the list of java-supported resources

Use this guide if Java refuses to run the .jnlp file and shows a security warning. Java blocks the file because the IP-KVM address is not in the Java Exception Site List. To start the console, add that address to the list.

To fix the problem, follow these steps:

Step 1. Open the Control Panel and click the Java icon.

Step 2. In the Java Control Panel go to the Security tab and click the Edit Site List button.

Step 3. Click Add and enter the IP-KVM address the way you open it in your browser, for example 203.0.113.10. Use the address of the IP-KVM you connect to.

Step 4. Click OK to save the list, then confirm the security prompt. The IP-KVM address is now added to the Exception Site List. Try opening the .jnlp file again.
