Selecting and Installing Software from Marketplace
General Information
Marketplace is a catalog of applications for quick installation on a VPS. The selected application is deployed on the server automatically.
Important: Installing an application completely reinstalls the server's operating system and erases all data on it. Create a backup of any data you need before installing.
Marketplace in the Client Area
The Marketplace tab is located on the order management page. It displays the "Application Credentials" panel and the catalog of applications available for installation as a collapsible list of categories.
Selecting an Application
Click a category to expand the list of its applications, or find the one you need by name using the search bar. The Expand all button expands all categories at once.
An application card shows its name, and hovering over it displays a short description. If a specific software version is installed, it is shown next to the name (for example, Zabbix Server 7.0 LTS). If no version is shown, the latest stable version provided by the vendor is installed.
The drop-down list in the card is used to select the installation stack. For a native installation, only the operating system is shown (for example, Ubuntu 24.04). If the application is deployed in Docker, this is indicated before the OS name (for example, Docker · Ubuntu 24.04). Some applications offer both options.
To select an application, click Select in its card. A bar with the selected application, category, OS, and server will appear at the bottom of the page.
Starting the Installation
Click Reinstall with this app in the selected application bar. A confirmation window will open.
The confirmation window:
- shows the selected application and stack (operating system and installation type);
- displays a warning about the complete erasure of data on the server;
- provides links to the licenses under which the application is distributed in the License Agreement section.
Review the license, check the box to agree to its terms, and click Reinstall now.
Installation Process
Installation takes some time. The installation progress is displayed in a banner on the Marketplace tab.
Important: During application installation, all data on the server is deleted. Install applications only on a new or empty server.
Installation takes time, usually 5-15 minutes depending on the application and the VPS configuration (CPU, RAM, uplink). Wait for the installation to complete fully: do not reboot or shut down the server until the banner reports that the application is ready.
Completing the Installation
Once the installation is complete, the "Application Credentials" panel appears on the Marketplace tab with the login details: the Current Stack field with the installed application, the Admin URL link, and the administrator credentials.
