VMware ESXI ermöglicht SSH-Zugriff

Standardmäßig ist der ssh-Zugang deaktiviert, und ihn offen zu halten ist keine sichere Lösung.

Wenn er dennoch erforderlich ist (z. B. um Informationen über SCP / rsync auf den Host zu übertragen), kann er auf folgende Weise aktiviert werden:

• Gehen Sie auf den Menüpunkt Verwaltung, den Sie im Menü auf der linken Seite der Hauptseite finden.
• In dem sich öffnenden Fenster gehen Sie auf die Registerkarte Dienste. Dort finden Sie den SSH-Dienst und starten ihn.

Danach können Sie sich über SSH mit dem Host verbinden

$ ssh root@62.*.*.*

WARNING:
 All commands run on the ESXi shell are logged and may be included in
 support bundles. Do not provide passwords directly on the command line.
 Most tools can prompt for secrets or accept them from standard input.
