Key Features of Tier 3 DCs in France

-
Network infrastructure
Telecommunications are redundant, featuring at least two physically separate paths. The network is built with high-speed lines, boasting over 100 x 10GB in its backbone. The global network backbone ensures low latency and high-speed connectivity alongside multi-path redundancy. Additionally, the LAN network offers complete redundancy up to the hosts.
-
Optimized Infrastructure
The data centre is located in flood-free areas and is located outside high seismic risk areas and sites subject to the SEVESO directive. It features lightning rods to minimize electromagnetic radiation, VESDA systems for fire detection and smoke aspiration, and is equipped with advanced fire suppression systems for enhanced safety. Maintenance teams are present 24/7/365.
-
Advanced cooling system
98% of hosting rooms are air conditioning-free. Water cooling disperses 70% of processor heat, while air cooling handles the remaining 30%. This results in a 50% reduction in energy consumption, achieving a PUE of 1 to 1.2, which indicates a consistent decrease in the data center's energy use.
-
Security
Cameras are placed at site entrances, exits, and server rooms, monitored at a security post, and stored on secure servers. Access is controlled via swipe-card and biometric fingerprint readers for offices, data centers, and loading areas. Security staff is present 24/7, with a policy for access rights and real-time video surveillance recorded for one month in compliance with PCI DSS.
-
Power supply
The datacenter is powered by two electric channels from different source stations along physically separate paths. UPS systems ensure energy continuity during outages, storing power in batteries for about 15 minutes to switch sources. With N+N redundancy, two UPS operate in parallel at 40-45% load. In case of a power failure, diesel generators automatically provide energy.

How can I test the network speed and latency in a French data center?
For these purposes, you can use our service, Looking Glass, at the link https://lg.fr.introserv.com/. On the service page, you can find the IP address of the test server and perform MTR, Traceroute, or Ping requests. You can do the same in the opposite direction to the computer or server in your location. Also, the resource has links to test files. By starting to download these files, you can check the download speed from the test server.
-
What is your physical security infrastructure like?
-
Secure Perimeter: Sturdy fencing with controlled access points, along with 24/7 video surveillance and on-site security personnel or security patrols.
-
Building Access Control: Advanced authorized personnel authentication, smart card systems, and mantrap controls for secure entry and exit.
-
Environmental Controls: State-of-the-art fire suppression systems, temperature and humidity control, smoke detection, and alarm systems to prevent equipment damage.
-
Power and Cooling Redundancy: Uninterruptible Power Supplies, backup generators, and redundant cooling systems to ensure continuous operation.
-
Data Center Monitoring: Real-time monitoring of environmental conditions, power usage, security systems, intrusion detection, and video surveillance within the data center.

Can you offer a free trial or demo in France?
Can you offer a free trial or demo in France? We can provide a server for testing for up to five days. Coordinating and preparing the server may take up to ten days. This is a paid service. The cost of the test is based on the number of rental days used, calculated by the formula (price/30) * number of test days. To start the test, you need to create an order and indicate in the order comments that you need a server for testing for a certain number of days. Specify the purpose of use and top up the balance with an amount covering the cost of the test. Note that coordinating the test may take up to ten days.

What are the specifications of your VLAN option?
To connect a server to a VLAN, a separate network card is used on the server. You can connect your servers to a private local network with a bandwidth that ranges from 1 to 50 Gbit/s. After combining servers into a private network, you will have access to a range of VLAN tags from 2 to 4000. This allows you to create a complex local network among all your servers in one location.

What kind of cooling is used on the servers?
What kind of cooling is used on the servers? High-performance servers are cooled with immersion liquid. These solutions ensure more efficient cooling of all server components, not just the CPU, RAM, and GPU. Other servers are cooled with air or liquid systems, which are made efficient and reliable by monitoring systems. Redundancy in the air conditioning system also adds to overall safety from overheating, as this approach reduces the risk of hot air stagnating around the rack with servers.
