FAQ
-
How much time does it take to set up a new server?
Server delivery usually takes 1 to 2 days, depending on the configuration and current workload.
For a precise timeline, please share your server details or the order configurator link with a sales manager. If no link is available, please provide specifications such as processing power, memory, storage, and network details to our support team for a quick estimate.
-
How do I test the network speed?
Links are available to test connection speed from various locations. You can use the link below to run a speed test.
-
How can I take the server into the test?
Server issuance for testing is possible for many server plans. The test period is paid, up to 5 days. To receive a server for testing, follow a few simple steps:
- Select a configuration and check the possibility and conditions for a server testing in the support chat.
- If the conditions of the test period suit you, top up your balance with the required amount, place an order and indicate the need to prepare a server for testing in the order comment.
- Wait for the server to be prepared. The server delivery time depends on the configuration and workload of the data center.
-
How much does it cost to rent a server for a test?
The cost of the trial period service directly depends on the cost of the server, but not less than 20 euros and no more than 5 days. To find out the cost of the trial period, please copy the link in the order configurator and send it to support in the chat or calculate the cost yourself using the formula: Server price/30 * number of test days.
-
Can I change my server configurations after server delivery?
Depending on the server plan and its location, server configuration changes may be possible after delivery. The only location where you can modify server configuration post-delivery is the data center in the Netherlands (DC3). Servers at other locations do not offer this flexibility, meaning configuration changes are not allowed after delivery.

Responding to Complaints of Copyright Infringement
If you receive a complaint regarding copyright infringement, it is crucial to address the issue promptly to ensure compliance with copyright laws and maintain the integrity of your platform. Immediate action is required within 12 hours of receiving the complaint. Failure to act within this timeframe may result in the server being blocked until the issue is resolved.

What is included with your dedicated server?
Your dedicated server comes with the following features:
- IPv4 addresses
- 40 Gbit/s DDoS protection
- Pre-Installed OS of your choice and distributions
- A 99.90% SLA (Service Level Agreement)
- Ticket and telephone support.
-
How to choose the right dedicated server specs?
Here are key specs to consider when choosing your dedicated server:
- Number of CPU cores: The computing power of your server is determined by the number of CPU cores and threads. More cores allow for better multi-threading and efficient handling of demanding workloads. We offer a minimum of 4 cores, with up to 96 cores available.
- Processor Brand (Type of CPU): The brand of the processor is crucial in some cases. We offer reputable brands like AMD, Intel, and AMD Epyc.
- Clock Speed: Measured in GHz (gigahertz), clock speed indicates the number of cycles per second the processing units can perform. Higher clock speeds result in better server performance and faster task execution.
- Memory: Sufficient RAM is crucial for managing multiple websites and applications. We offer choice from 16GB up to 2048 GB of RAM, with options for DDR4 speed and upgradeability.
- Storage options: We provide a range of storage options, including high-capacity HDDs, high-speed SSDs, and ultra-fast NVMe. We also offer RAID configurations (RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 5, RAID 10) for speed and redundancy.
- Network Connectivity: Higher bandwidth improves data flow, while low latency ensures faster response times. Redundancy features ensure continuous service.
- Reliable Technical Support: We stand out with high-quality components, timely replacements, and 24/7 support.
- Security: Server security is ensured through data center control levels and high-level DDoS protection. Additional protection can be added with SSL certificates.
- Cost analysis: We provide transparent cost analysis, considering both initial and ongoing server ownership costs. Our pricing includes upfront payments with no hidden fees and special discounts.

Why is renting a dedicated server a good idea, and what options do you offer?
Selecting a dedicated server is an excellent choice for those who prioritise
modernising their IT infrastructure or seek individual control over their resources.
This server type offers numerous advantages, including: (1) high performance, (2)
high flexibility, (3) scalability, and (4) high-level security. With a dedicated
server, you have the freedom to customize specifications, including CPU, RAM, disk
drives, other hardware components, and software characteristics. Dedicated server
hosting provides full control over your operating system, hardware components, and
applications. It is an ideal choice for developers needing to meet specific
optimization requirements.

Which operating system do you recommend?
INTROSERV offers a wide range of Linux and Windows operating systems, including:
Debian, CentOS, Rocky Lixnux, Alma Linux, Proxmox VE, Ubuntu Server, Windows Server,
Microsoft Hyper-V. The choice of OS depends on the specifics of the project you want
to implement using our servers. If you are not sure about the choice, our support is
always open for consultation.

Why is DDoS Protection a Mandatory Feature Included in All Your Server Plans?
DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) attacks have become a significant threat to
online security in recent years. These attacks aim to overwhelm and disrupt websites
or servers by flooding them with excessive traffic. Consequently, DDoS protection
has become a mandatory feature in all our server plans.
