This server plan is based on the Dell PowerEdge R840 platform. The Dell PowerEdge R840 platform is designed to meet the demands of modern businesses and organizations that require high-performance computing solutions. Its robust hardware configuration makes this platform suitable for various applications, including data analytics, virtualization, and database management. The server is equippted with 4x Intel Xeon Silver 4108 processor that gives you 32 cores and 64 threads at your disposal. In addition to the impressive processing power, this server plan includes 3072GB ECC DDR4 RAM that ensures smooth and efficient multitasking, allowing users to run resource-intensive applications without hiccups.
In terms of storage, the R840 offers flexibility in configuration. There are two types of disks available: SSDs and NVMe disks. If you need SSD storage, you can order Enterprise SSD units with a capacity of 7.68TB. These high-capacity storage units offer fast and reliable performance, allowing you to store and access your data quickly and efficiently.
DC3 4x Gold 6130 R840
The server plan offered is based on the Dell PowerEdge R840 platform. This server is equipped with 4x Intel Xeon Gold 6130 processors, which provide exceptional performance and reliability. Each processor has a maximum frequency of 3.7 GHz, ensuring it can handle demanding workloads efficiently.
Regarding processing power, the Dell PowerEdge R840 boasts an impressive 64 cores and 128 threads. This high core and thread count makes it suitable for handling even the most demanding and complex tasks. Dell PowerEdge R840 also has a generous 3072GB of ECC DDR4 RAM to support the processing capabilities. ECC (Error-Correcting Code) technology helps detect and correct data errors, ensuring the system's reliability and stability.
As in the previous server plan, the storage bank is categorized into two groups: SSD and NVMe. In terms of SSD, a 7.68 TB Enterprise SSD drive is utilized. By setting up 8 pieces of this drive, 61.44 TB can be obtained for information storage. On the other hand, the second group comprises NVMe drives. Two 1TB NVMe drives are ideal for fast information processing. However, it should be noted that 2 TB of storage is already available for use.
