One-time installation fee Understanding
Overview
When ordering services from INTROSERV, you may encounter one-time fees in addition to recurring monthly charges. This guide explains what one-time fees exist, when they apply, and how they are calculated.
Server Setup Fee
A setup fee is charged when ordering a new dedicated server. This covers initial server configuration, OS installation, network setup, and testing before handover.

Setup fee is charged once at the time of order and does not recur.
Software Licenses
Operating system and control panel installation is free. You pay only a monthly license fee for as long the license is active. There is no one-time installation charge for Windows Server, cPanel, Plesk, or DirectAdmin. Software license costs are added to your monthly invoice.
Hardware Upgrades
When adding hardware upgrades to dedicated servers (RAM, storage, RAID controllers, GPU), there is no separate installation fee. You pay only for the hardware or add-on itself.
Examples:
- Additional RAM - monthly fee for the upgrade, no installation charge.
- Extra storage drives - monthly fee, no installation charge.
- RAID controller - monthly fee, no installation charge.
Hardware upgrade pricing is displayed in the order configurator.
BYOIP (Bring Your Own IP)
Announcing your own IP subnet in INTROSERV data centers may include one-time fees depending on location:
- IPv4 subnet: €65 - $200 per server/data center
- IPv6 subnet: €49 per server
- Some locations: Currently free
Pricing is subject to change. Confirm current rates when ordering. Contact support for specific pricing in your chosen location.
Custom Administrative Work
If you need non-standard software installation or administrative tasks performed on your server, INTROSERV offers paid technical services.
How it works:
- Submit a request describing the required work
- Our administrators evaluate the scope
- A one-time invoice is issued based on the work estimate
- Work begins after payment

- Database setup and tuning

- Order Configurator - shows setup fees, monthly costs, and add-on prices.
- Summary Panel - displays total one-time and recurring charges before checkout.
- Quote - shows total amount for the order (available before payment).
- Invoice - shows total amount (available after payment).
One-time fees are marked separately from recurring monthly charges in the order configurator.
